How
does the National Debt Arbitration program work?
National Debt Arbitration
will enroll you in the program send the enrollment packet and
familiarize you with
the program. In 3 months
when behind with the creditors, then we will send letters to your
creditors stating
that you have had a
financial hardship and that's why the payments have not been made in the
last 3
months and more than
likely won't be paid in the future and that we are currently researching
assets that you
have at this time.
Possibly to sell and get some funds together to settle the accounts and
save you from filling
for Bankruptcy. See this
is the thing your creditors are afraid of the most because if you file
for bankruptcy the
creditors will never see a
dime and the creditors rather get something as apposed to nothing. So by
us telling
this to your creditors it
will buy us time to save the money up in your trust account. Once there
are enough
funds in your trust
account (usually takes 6-12 months to settle your first account) we will
use those funds to
negotiate a settlement on
your account usually for about 25-50 cents on the dollar. Automatically
you might
think that if you stop
paying your creditors that it will have a huge adverse affect on your
creditor, which if you
have excellent credit it
would. But the fortunate thing for you is the majority of our clients
credit is already
damaged. So it wouldn't
have the same effect as if you had perfect credit. Now the second thing
you might
think is well what about
the late payment on my credit. When late payments are reported to the
credit
bureaus there are 5 different classifications of delinquency.
(Eg. 30, 60, 90, 120, 180 days late) Once you
accounts go six months or
180 days delinquent, The report only shows 180 days late. So if you are
in our
program for 36 months and
someone pulls a credit check on you after your finished it only shows
180 days
late. It's not going to
show them that you were late for 36 months all they will see is that 30
months ago you
missed 6 months of
payments. which most lenders don't look back any further than 2 years in
most cases.
Once you have finished the
program not only will you be able to enjoy being debt free but you will
also see
an increase in your credit
due to lowered debt-to-income ratios. You have to remember that this is
financial
rehab and the process is
not going to be painless but it is going to be worth it. Our program is
completely
secure and confidential.
We are not required to report anything to the credit reporting agencies,
and we will
not. We work with you on a
one-on-one basis, and are able to give you unparalleled service. As soon
as you
join our program we
immediately go to work on your behalf. We also have tools to help the
creditors
harassing phones with our
Cease and Desist letters enclosed in our enrollment packet. This letter
is part of
the Fair Debt Collection
Practices Act, under this act if you are getting harassed by a collector
you have legal
right to tell them to stop
in writing and they have to abide and stop calling you.
